About me.
I'm a sustainability professional with over 14 years of experience, most recently leading environment and nature for leading British retailer M&S Foods. My expertise spans the ESG agenda with depth in climate and nature, in particular: sustainable sourcing and due diligence, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, water security and climate resilience.
I've led large-scale agricultural programmes, driven change across global supply chains, shaped muti-stakeholder initiatives on nature and built approaches to understanding and managing human rights and environmental risk.
My approach is collaborative and people-centred, paired with strategic curiosity. I'm motivated by impact at scale, smarter ways of working, and cultivating business value.
In-house experience.
Delivering sustainability from inside a business has shaped my approach and makes me well positioned to help clients turn ambition into real-world delivery. Here are some recent examples:
Oversaw a comprehensive environmental and human rights risk assessment across raw materials and sourcing countries that shaped strategy and priorities.
Led, developed and delivered large-scale sustainable farming programmes and farming strategy.
Supported delivery of first-to-market products made with regeneratively farmed ingredients.
Scaled environmental farming standards across 10,000+ farmers globally.
Developed a global supply chain water strategy for livestock and produce farmers.
Managed claims and sustainability storytelling as part of a major British food and farming campaign which enhanced customer trust and quality perception.
Held multi-stakeholder initiative chair roles including with WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Plan) and the SAI Platform (Sustainable Agriculture Initiative) and shaped cross-industry collaborations on water security through the WRAP Water Roadmap.
